Dialog for This Comic

Hi everyone!

Hope you enjoyed reading Crow Feathers as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Time for an update on what's going on with your friendly neighborhood comic artist.

Right now I am still going to physical therapy three times a week, and doing PT at home for about three hours every day.

On the bright side, I'm a lot better and healthier than I was a few weeks ago. I should hopefully be back to full strength soon.

I'm also working with Beyond Madness and Genius, a small independent game company that will be bringing Point of Descent to XBox Live Indie Games. I worked with them last year, and did some backgrounds for them. I'm doing sprite art for them this year. This is the part where I do the "I'm getting paid!" dance. I'm very excited about that. My comic is fun, but doesn't pay the bills.

Speaking of the comic, Summerside scripting is underway, but not yet completed. I'm estimating that I'm about a third done with the script. It's going slow because of the PT and the paid job, and because we are still working on moving.

Unfortunately, I need to take an indefinite hiatus, mostly to deal with the move, which is a lot of work. I'm sorry. I'm not real happy about that, because I don't want to leave you folks hanging. But all the stuff I have to do, especially moving, requires more time than I currently have. I will bring Saijiki Stories back after we move. I'm targeting June or July.

I'll try to sneak in some bonus art when I can. Check back, OK?

Thanks so much for being patient with me.
